Young Advisors are Young People aged between 14 and 21, who show community leaders and decision makers how to engage young people in community life, regeneration and renewal. They are highly trained and qualified to work as Regeneration and Renewal Consultants.

Waltham Forest, in north east London set up a Young Advisor team in October 2007, the Young Adviosrs have undertaken many high profile pieces of work, including the Department for Communities and Local Governments REACH project, national "How to engage with Young People" seminars and one of our Young advisors has even met the prime minister!

While hosted by a Local Authority, Waltham Forest Young Advisors is still part of the Young Advisors charity. This means that our Young Advisors remain fairly independant of the borough, resulting in an unbiased and professional organisation.
