If you're interested in journalism and media, this really is the place for you. The Press Gang are a team of young journalists with a regular slot in WFM (the Waltham Forest mag), The Guardian website, and who have worked with the BBC and other organisations to deliver fantastic articles and features to the public.
The Press Gang are also responsible for the Council's youth website - Forest Flava. You'll be helping to redesign it in September - when you'll work with a crack team of web developers and designers to make the website the best it can be. You'll then be responsible for podcasting, writing blogs and keeping the website interesting and active.
The Press Gang training package that you'll recieve will also get you a qualification equivalent to half a GCSE.
